CÁTH NA DÉITHE
Cath Na Déithe is a small third-person action RPG inspired by Irish mythology, developed as my final-year graduate project in Unreal Engine 5. This project was mainly focused on gameplay systems, player feel, environment presentation, and building a complete playable slice of a proposed larger game.
Responsibilities
Compiling a large amount of information on Irish history and mythology and visiting real historical bronze age sites to create an authentic experience.
Sculpted and textured landscapes, created custom landscape materials
Programmed core gameplay systems and player mechanics
Designed and implemented UI and HUD elements
Created visual effects using Niagara
Modeled and textured 3D assets
Integrated audio elements and implemented sound design
Directed and implemented in-game cinematics
