WARZONE

This project was a personal exploration of the GAEA to game engine workflow by exporting Splatmaps / Heightmaps to Unity and using the terrain layer system to allow procedural texturing of the terrian. I then filled the scene with military assets I found online and added volumetrics and lighting. This project helped me improve creating a mood and story to an environment and my task management.

Responsibilities

  • Built terrain in QuadSpinner Gaea and implemented/textured it in Unity

  • Placed assets to create a cohesive environment and atmosphere

  • Set up lighting, fog, and FX to enhance mood and depth
